Practical Magic 2

Practical Magic 2 brings back the enchanting witchy world of the Owens sisters, blending witchcraft, family bonds, romance, and a darker side of magic. The return of Sally, Gillian, Jet and Franny Owens definitely captures the nostalgic charm that made the original film so beloved.

Taking that charm and building on it with a wonderful second addition that was truly more enjoyable than the first. One of the most appealing aspects of Practical Magic has always been its whimsical atmosphere. From the beautiful Victorian house to the cozy garden aesthetic.

The sequel has an opportunity to embrace that same enchanting atmosphere while exploring new magical traditions, family secrets, and the complicated relationships that have always been at the heart of the Owens family.

Along with crafting the magical scenes a little less cheesy than the original with new technology advances in film. The chemistry of the Owens sisters is a familiar warmth. Meanwhile, the introduction of a younger generation adds another layer to the family’s complicated history.

The film’s exploration of grief, love, and the family curse provides emotional depth. The storytelling is not as predictable as you might believe. And of course their is a nostalgic midnight margarita scene.

Practical Magic 2 serves as a reminder that the greatest magic isn’t necessarily found in spells or potions, but in the people who stand beside us in life. The story is envisioned with unbelievable love between mother and daughter along with sisterly love is beautiful and compelling to one that enjoys a alluring emotional story.

Genuinely love the evolved story line as an enchanting, witchy and witty funny addition to the first film. Wonderful feature to watch this Halloween season.
